Manning Safety Services was founded in 1982 by Steve Manning. Steve had a vision for helping companies in the oil and gas industry provide a safe environment for their employees and the surrounding community. Over the past 35 years, ownership of the company has changed a few times (Bill Jackson, Joe Zeutizes, Chris Newsome), but the current owner, Joanna Newsome-Gonzales, and her team of experts continue to pursue the same vision that led Steve to start the company: providing professional H2S safety services, equipment, and expertise.
The safety of your employees is extremely important to us—and we have a track record to prove it: no accidents since the company was founded 35 years ago. We achieve this high level of safety by offering and utilizing the highest quality equipment from reputable manufacturers such as Scott, SCBA, Otis Instruments, BW Technologies, and RAE Systems. We are members of ISNetworld and the National Safety Council. When it comes to safety, it doesn’t pay to settle for a cheap, second-rate solution that’s “probably good enough.”
Manning Safety Services deeply committed to the local community where we are headquartered—Jourdanton, Texas. We recently offered training on H2S and toxic gas symptoms, treatment, and contingency plans to all the local first responders: police, fire, and EMS. We buy our trucks and tools from local companies whenever possible. And we happily sponsor various organizations and efforts including local schools, Junior Livestock competitions, Little League baseball, and community softball leagues just to name a few.
Our company has been providing safety services since 1982—through boom years and busts. We’re here to stay and we continue to invest and expand in our company so that we can better meet your safety needs. We look forward to continuing to provide companies across the United States with the highest quality of toxic gas safety services, products, training, and consulting for decades to come.
